Analysis of Profit Loss for a Transport Organization as a Result of Repair Work After an Accident Involving Vehicles with a Total Weight of over 12 t
Svozil, Milan ; Krýsová, Jana (referee) ; Libertín, Josef (advisor)
This thesis, as a part of the overall project to determine general methodology for calculating lost profits, deals with technical and economic data of trucks, cost analysis and quantification of lost profits after an accident and subsequent mending. It focuses on vehicles with a total weight of over 12 tons. The thesis and its results are beneficial for the experts and forensic engineering experts who, based on documents can more easily determine a methodology for calculating lost profits. It simplifies and accelerates the settlement of claims for loss of profits and payments.
Development of ABS Control Algorithm for Heavy Commercial Vehicle
Slepánek, David ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Fojtášek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with ABS algorithm project for commercial vehicles. In the first part the reader is introduced to the history and first usage of the anti-blocking system, its principles and main functions. There are also driving algorithms and functionality system control. The second part is dedicated to the dynamic model, programs and ADAMS Car and MATLAB Simulink interfaces. It also contains the description of the algorithm, its parameters and basic functionality assay. Simulation, program interlink, testing and tuning are also described. The concluding part deals with results and their assessment.
Future Trends for Truck Car Powertrains
Střítežský, David ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis is focused on alternative drivetrains used in trucks. There is evaluation of theirs advantages, disadvantages and probability of future expansion, mostly in Europe. There are also several examples of projects of alternative drivetrains in various stages of realization. In the end there is a reflection about which alternative can replace the traditional combustion engine.
Evaluation of Technical and Economic Parameters for the Expansion of Electronic Toll Collection in the Czech Republic
Svatoš, Ivo ; Kudláček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Libertín, Josef (advisor)
The work evaluated on the basis of commonly available data some of the implications of collection toll of highway D1 and D5. It focuses on identifying potential alternative routes by using statistics of national traffic census. On these routes it evaluates the changes of traffic safety, which can show the change of traffic intensity of trucks. Next part evaluates potential economic benefits of bypassing toll routes. In the end it notes possible scenarios of impacts extended toll zones to the above fact findings.
Truck aerodynamic parameters
Šilar, Josef ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor´s work is to depict and describe terms form the aerodynamics field in order to understand the problem of aerodynamics of the vehicles. Here is created overall view of constructive elements that lower aerodynamic resistance of vehicles and methods of survey of aerodynamic parameters. The work also contain the difference of mentioned parameters of suburban and truck cars.
Influence of vehicle geometry on tire durability and fuel consumption
Sláma, Vladimír ; Langer, Aleš (referee) ; Bilík, Martin (advisor)
Goal of this thesis is to study influence of vehicle geometry on tire durability and fuel consumption. To find out the results, a series of tests in real traffic was performed on different vehicles with different settings of front axle geometry. Data was processed in order to determine the influence. It was proven that geometry influences the tire durability significantly. Influence on fuel consumption is also possible but other factors can affect the consumption more.

Zdanění nákladních automobilů v České republice a vybraných státech EU
Kladivo, Lukáš
Kladivo, L. Taxation of trucks in the Czech Republic and selected EU countries. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2018. Bachelor thesis deals with taxation of trucks in the Czech Republic and selected EU countries. Aim of thesis is to propose alternative options for taxation of trucks for the Czech Republic, based on analysis of tax systems of selected European countries. The theoretical part analyses individual tax systems, focusing on freight vehicles and the harmonization efforts of the European Union concerning land motor vehicles. In the practical part a comparison of the individual factors related to the taxation of motor vehicles is made. On the basis of which, there are pro-posed possible adjustments to the taxation of trucks in the Czech Republic. These proposals are aimed not only at rejuvenating the fleet, which would lead to the reduction of emissions but also on the reduction of unnecessary freight traffic.
Environmentální aspekty zdanění provozu nákladních motorových vozidel
Podlasová, Michaela
The diploma thesis deals with the environmental taxation aspects of heavy goods vehicles. In the introduction the thesis described the impact of road transport on the environment. In a literature search is presented the issue of taxation of road motor vehicles, with an emphasis on heavy goods vehicles, including theoretical approaches and description and analysis of the taxation of heavy goods vehicles in the Czech Republic and the European Union. In the practical part is based on the findings carried out multivariate regression analysis of selected independent variables on the variable dependent by OLS method, in order to verify the degressive rates of road tax in terms of the number of axles. In order to remove the degressive rates of road tax in terms of the number of axles are formulated proposals for the taxation of heavy goods vehicles regarding to their feasibility and ability to reduce the amount of produced harmful substances.
Regulace environmentálních dopadů dopravy pomocí alternativních daňových nástrojů
Kolouchová, Hana
The topic of this diploma thesis is the regulation of environmental impacts of road transport using tax tools alternative to road tax. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the tax tools suitable for greening the vehicle fleet and answer the question whether these instruments are more focused on the fleet renewal by vehicles pro-ducing lower emissions or using alternative fuels. Another objective is to formulate conclusions as to whether alternative tax instruments serve as a supplement or replacement for environmental road tax. The result of the work was that use of alternative tax instruments is more related to the use of the alternative road tax and the states are mostly putting pressure on the use of alternative fuel vehicles.
